Victorian 'Love' Card - Imaginarium Designs

For March I have created a card for Imaginarium Designs (one of 3 projects).

I used the "Flourish 1 and Variations' (IDT0003) to create interest in the flower arrangement of the 'Love' card - some of the flourishes were cut into smaller portions to fit the arrangement.  Each portion, including the 'Love, Adore, and Cherish Small' (IDW0036), and 'Bird Cage' (IDT00019) were painted using Creative Inspiration Paint.  Firstly, I painted with 'Tu Tu Pink', and then a light brush of 'Gold' to tone the pink down to fit the theme more. Using a dauber to apply the 'Gold' gave a variegated appearance upon each of the chipboard pieces, which can be seen in the close-up photographs.

To purchase Imaginarium Designs chipboard, please visit 'Seriously Scrapbooking',  you can find the chipboard "HERE".

For some wonderful inspiration, and to keep up with what is happening, please visit the Imaginarium Designs Ning Site, and visit the Imaginarium Designs Blog to see what gorgeous projects the design team have created.

Hello from the USA,
I came looking for your blog after I saw your last post on the Cheery Lynn Designs. I thought your flower on a ribbon was really pretty. I love antique things. Then I found this post.....and WOW! This card jumped out at me. I do not like chipboard because I have had it warp in the package before I had a chance to use it......but I think I just changed my mind. Your "love" card is absolutely beautiful! I look forward to exploring your blog.

Kind Regards from
A new fan.

Sandie your card is just beautiful, you are so good at creating a Victorian and vintage style and the way you arrange your flower clusters and detailed fine fiddly bits is amazing. Love the combination of brown and soft pink. Thank you too for your lovely comment on my last blog post...I'm never quite sure about stuff like that. xx
