Scrap For Help, 'Old Pencils' Challenge - Decorative Box, with Mini Album

Scrap For Help has another wonderful challenge with fantastic prizes again for August.  The theme is 'Old Pencils', though I actually managed to recycle a number of items in my 'stash'.  Actually, I did not have any old pencils, so I made my own from meat skewers and painted them with Creative Inspirations Paint to match the colour theme of my gift box.

My project is created from an old soap box, and all I did was cut the centre out and affix acetate for a window.  A little fiddly, but worth the effort.  Inside of the box is a small memory album, created from recycled toilet rolls.  I have/will show the album in another post, for Creative Inspirations Paint

...I guess its rather obvious that I created this gift set for my Mother... with the beautiful chipboard 'Mum' from Imaginarium Designs.  All their products can be found 'HERE' and purchased through 'Seriously Scrapbooking'.
There are some fantastic prizes to be won, so do call on over to the Scrap For Help blog to see all the details, and some absolutely amazing inspiration from the other design team members.
Have a wonderful, and creative week...
Sandie
