The Scrapbook Store, 1st Christmas Layout - Competition - Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge

I am back with another layout, created from my DT kit from The Scrapbook StorePlease see the currentGrab Our Blinkie competition on the bottom of my post...to win some great prizes....

This time, with a photograph of my son Jesse celebrating his first Christmas.  The paper collection 'Just Believe' was used in this layout, and is available to purchase 'HERE'.

I am entering for the first time, Scrap Africa's Sketch No.10 Challenge - I have been a follower since they first started.  Certainly some beautiful, inspiring creations to be found on the Scrap Africa Blog.

I am thrilled, my layout got Top 3 at Scrap Africa!
Other elements used in this layout include the 'Just Believe' Collectibles, Alpha Sticker Sheet and To/Froms Gift Tags.  All edges were coloured using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. My journaling can be found in the two tabs at the top of the photograph.  I am not keen on my own hand writing, so more often than not, do hidden journaling.
My paper layers were stitched, always adds a little extra character to a layout.  The Rosette's were created using the MFT Die-Namics Rosette 1/4" Die, so easy to whip one or two together.  The chipboard 1st and date is from Imaginarium Designs, and was coloured using 'Gold' Stickles.

Thanks for popping into my blog for a visit, I really appreciate the comments you leave...
