Paper-Bag Albums....

Recently, Celeste and I got together to create a paper-bag album together!  It was a real learning experience and we’re both amazed at how different, yet at the same time ‘similar’, our albums turned out.  We purchased the beautiful kits from “Scrap with V”  - truly stunning papers and embellishments!!!
& of course I couldn't help myself, and used some of Cheery Lynn's butterfly dies (the tiny ones).
Below are photos of both albums .... of course not all tags were photographed as there was seriously so many tags...

Not well :-(

Its been quiet, even in my creativity - due to a nasty ear infection.  Finally starting to feel a little better, thankfully!!

In the times I have been feeling alright,  I have managed to put time into my journal which has been at the 'creating' stage now for 6 months  (perhaps more?) - one of those projects that is put aside for 'other' creativity and then drawn back out when a new lot of inspiration flows.

On the other hand, my diary is filling to the brim with ideas ... I'll have to live to 203, to be able to attempt just half of them.  Oh to have another 12 hours in a day!!

"Cherish Family" LO

I had a wonderful time creating this layout, as it consists of some of my favourite items – an owl (with diamante eyes), bird cages, flowers, lace, music sheet (reminds me of my Grandpa), hidden journaling........
This photo is precious to me, a memory that will last a lifetime..... it had to be scrapped, the story had to be told.... or, it would be just another photo for generations to come.  Definitely had to change that!
The photograph is of my Mother, myself and my brother Paul who passed away in 1990...
Now off, to create up another ‘memory’ that will last a lifetime and beyond!

P.S... I don't like the twine on the birdcage, so will be replaced with chain when my order arrives..
