"Sweet 16"
My second project for Meg's Garden is another layout of my Mother, at the age of 16
wearing her first special occasion dress. I wished we still wore dresses like this! The layout is based on 'Green
Paisley Toile' paper, from the 'Spring Paisley Collection', and teamed with matching
cardstock. I built up layers using the various sized lace doilies available
from Meg's Garden - sprucing them up with spray of Glimmer Mist, and touch of
Distress Inks in various shades - really made them shimmer beautifully. I used
various elements from other papers in the 'Spring Paisley Collection' to fussy cut elements, to enhance the edges of the doilies.
