Cheery Lynn Designs New Release for October

Cheery Lynn Designs has released their 'new release' dies for October.  Each of the design team members are given a variety of dies to create with, and below are my creations.  However, there are many more creations, with a variety of die designs to be seen on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog - so do call over for a 'peek'. OR, over to the Cheery Lynn Designs website to purchase.
The base of my ornament is constructed from the Nesting Eggs (an Easter die). I used the new Rose Leaf Strip, to create a Christmassy looking flower, with a Snowflake centre - added some foliage, including Holly Leaves and Wreath Strip.   The centre egg and snowflake were sprinkled with Angel Dust Glitter, which has the most amazing sparkle (available from Creative Inspirations Paint)!
Creative Inspirations Paint 'Angel Dust'

Supplies List Ornament One:

Peeled Paint Distress Ink, Gems, Cardstock, Ribbon

My second project...I used the Expandable Tiny Borders to create my background for this ornament, using a variety of papers - it actually looks like paper itself.  A simple bunch of Snowflakes, and Snow Flowers 1 and 2 create the centre piece.  Again, Angel Dust was used to create the amazing sparkle.

Supplies List Ornament Two:

Cheery Lynn Designs:
Cardstock, Pleated Ribbon, Ribbon, and Gem

I also created a quick and very simple card, using Love, and the Delicate Lace Script for the wording, and a mixture of Snowflakes, Snow Flowers (1 and 2).  The words, were cut from chipboard, and painted in Gold acrylic paint.

Supplies List Card:

 Love
Cardstock, Gems, Kaisercraft 'Tis the Season' Paper, Adirondak 'Gold' Paint

and finally, don't forget the Cheery Lynn Challenge Blog, with weekly challenges and the chance to win a $20USD voucher!

Back on Friday to show you more!

  2. Wow Sandie, three absolutely gorgeous products, I really love how you created the flower out of leaves, never would have thought of that. I must try cutting out some chipboard too as you've done a fabulous job with it.
    You're so creative.

  20. I can't believe it is getting to be that time of year again. These poinsettias and snowflakes are beautiful. I saw some Cheery Lynn dies like this on Topdogdies.com. They have a huge variety of dies for cheap! Seeing how you did your cards makes me want to buy the dies for myself! So pretty.
