Come 'N' Play Layout - The Scrapbook Store

The Scrapbook Store has their 3rd birthday sale still going, up till Christmas Eve - for 20% off products (some exclusions, but not many) - well worth popping over to find yourself a bargain!!

...and another layout created for The Scrapbook Store, using the 'Sweet Childhood' paper range by The Scrap Cake, including the adorable Die-Cuts. I love the  Mini Cubist template so much, and used it to create the background on the cardstock, simply by applying a light dauber of Snow Cap acrylic paint.
Lots of layers using the Doily Lace, and Cherish punches, and decorating the photo corner/flower cluster using the very sweet Medera die.
Flowers were created using the Cherry Blossom die, they really are very simple to construct!  The stamens each were painted with Fire Opal acrylic glaze - these paints are truly beautiful and the photographs do not do the colour/paint justice. The die-cut leaves (Lorelai) are from Poppy stamps, and were also given two light coats of  Fire Opal
The photograph is of me as a child, though I do not know much about the actual photograph.  I have not completed the journaling due to this, and hope one of the family members can shed some light.
Have a wonderful and creative day ...
Sandie
xx
