December Challenge - The Scrapbook Store 3rd Birthday Celebrations

Hi Everyone, the new sketch challenge is up for The Scrapbook Store, and below is my take on the sketch.  You can find all details in the newsletter 'HERE'.  There is a $40 store voucher to be won, with free postage!!  Entry is via the Gallery, so come join in the fun, or just simply pop on over for a visit to get inspired by those that enter....
My layout consists of the gorgeous Kaisercraft papers from the 365 Days Paper Collection, and some gorgeous flowers from Manor House which were given a coat of Glimmer Mist so they would match perfectly. New Poppy Stamps die-cut leaves were used for foliage, and the Kaisercraft Remember Rubons to add some extra journaling. For the background, I added in some extra colour by applying distress ink using a Crafters Workshop template.

The Scrapbook Store is celebrating their 3rd birthday, and to celebrate are offering a sale of 20% off till Christmas Eve (some exclusions do apply).
December 2012, Sketch Challenge

Chipboard elements were coloured using Adrionack and Jenni Bowlin acrylic paint daubers.
A close up view of the gorgeous Manor House - Winters Song-Snowbird flowers. So very pretty.
The photograph is of my Mother when she was little, playing on a tyre hanging from a big old tree they had out in the back yard.  Gone are those days, something you rarely see now (those types of swings).
The Scrapbook Store has a range of their own chipboard pieces, and the above Clock 05 is one of them.  The pack consists of 3 clocks, and at a bargain price of $2.50! So cute, and ornate....

I'll be back later in new week with another layout to share.
Sandie
