My 2nd project for The Scrapbook Store, using my June design team kit, featuring the Fab Scraps, Baby Bear, paper collection. This paper range hosts, a beautiful soft colour pallet perfect for vintage inspired layouts/creations.
The photograph is of my son Jesse-James in the bath, having a wow of a time. He is a water baby, mind you sometimes I fight to get him 'in' the bath, then I have a fight on my hands getting him 'out' of the bath!
I kept this layout fairly simple, so that the photograph would really stand out. I also did not want to lose the detail of the paper - those bears in the bath with the bubbles are so cute! Somehow, I want to mark on the Prima Marketing wood icon, ruler how old Jesse was at the time this photograph was taken, but haven't quite worked that one out as yet. The title was created using some of the elements left over from last months DT kit, including the alpha stickers, and Kaisercraft, Celebrate, wooden letters. The title sits upon the Fab Scraps chipboard element, which I cut into two....
Seam Binding, tied around a bunch of pretty Prima Marketing flowers, and adhered into place using glue dots.
and some glass bubbles to complete.
Have a great day...

ReplyDeleteSandie this is gorgeous and I love the soft colours in the range. To mark the ruler you may be able to use a '0' or and 'O' from an alpha set to circle the number. Not sure if it would work but that was my initial thought.
