Celebrate - Layout - The Scrapbook Store

Another layout, created for The Scrapbook Store. The Carta Bella 'So Noted' is such a gorgeous paper collection - the papers are beautiful quality too.

..Celebrate being a woman and playing FOOTBALL in the early 60s.
My Mum is the 3rd from the right, and my Aunt Janet is the 2nd from the left, top row.  This is a group of women who worked for the Brucks Woollen Mill throughout the 1960s, and at one of the events they took on the men playing football.  This event would have been a huge event in its time.  Must look for a newspaper clipping!!
I used the Kaisercraft Wooden Letters as the title, and added the Adorably Cute, from the Note Cards paper, and highlighted using Green Tara's, Burlap Trim, Pleated Organza Ribbon, Lace, and Mini Roses.  Lots of hidden pockets and journaling.
 ... Happy Creating...
Sandie
Materials:
Kaisercraft Paint
Black Soot, Scattered Straw and Walnut Stain - Distress Ink
Black Magic, and Suede - Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist

  4. Sandie I love the ruffled ribbon and those gorgeous little roses. I remember playing in an all girl team when I was about 15 and I thought they were more rough than the fellas - I don't think I played again, must be a wuss!!!
