Mini Album - Love.....

One of my main loves is creating mini albums to store 'memories'....I have some special photographs of John and myself I'd like to get reprinted in sepia tones, for this album. 

I used Kaisercrafts 75 cents paper collection, left overs from the sketch I completed for The Scrapbook Store earlier this month.  It is a paper collection I just adored, with the beautiful colour hues and vintage appeal.

The cover has a transparency overlay over the top of the paper, and also rub-ons...

Album measures 6" X 6"...

Wooden elements were painted, then several coats of Mod Podge was applied.  Aged cracks appear, when you apply more than one coat - I discovered this by pure accident - and I adore the cracks.

 Transparencies were used throughout the album to create pockets and page pockets.  In the above photograph to the left, is an actual pocket, created by adding a transparency overlay.  Photographs or ephemera could be added to this pocket.

 Simple quarter circle pockets were created to hold numerous tags....

and each page hosts a side pocket to house further tags, and or photographs.

In the above and below photographs, both right hand side pages have transparency pockets, lined with lace.
