Pocket of Memories & Best Wishes Tag - The Scrapbook Store

My last two projects for The Scrapbook Store for May - where has this month gone.  I cannot believe we are nearly into the middle of yet another year!

This photograph does not belong in my family photo archives - it is a photograph I purchased because I just adored it.  I was lucky enough to pick up some amazing Cabinet Cards, though sadly, they do not have a great deal of detail, of the people within them.  It is rather sad that a family somewhere are missing such wonderful heirlooms...

You may ask, why I opted to scrap this particular photograph, as it is not my family.  My answer:  There is a story to a photograph no matter who it belongs to, even if there are no details..... I can piece together snippets of what 'may' have been happening and the era approximately - AND the best part, I have a good imagination. So in the many tags that adorn this layout, I have written a story and memories for this lady as I portray her, I gave her an imaginary life of memories I 'created'....

Of course it is all a fairy-tale - but the story also shares my 'thoughts' and possibly a lot about myself.
The Prima Marketing, Fairy Rhymes paper collection is just stunning, and the matching embellishments.  I coloured the resist canvas pieces using copic markers, and glimmer mist.  Fussy cut elements from the papers, and oodles of alpha's.  The metal butterfly clips are so gorgeous!!!
Oodles of flowers including Prima's solid vine flower, and Green Tara - ruffled ribbon, lace, and pearl beads.  The background paper was swiped over using texture magic, and splats of white ink.
Seam binding was used to decorate each of the story tags...
Materials:
Secret Garden

...and using left over products I created a 'best wishes' tag....
