Joanna Sheen Challenge - Silouette's

Today is my last creation as part of the Joanna Sheen Design Team, so I thought I would create a card to 'remember'....

Thanks to Joanna Sheen, Paula and the Design Team members,  for all your support and
friendship throughout my term...

The challenge this fortnight on the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog is 'Silhouettes' - all challenge details can be found on the blog 'HERE'.  Entrants have a chance of winning a £15 voucher (as with each challenge) to spend in the Joanna Sheen Online Shop.  Must remember to tell you Joanna Sheen has free postage for orders over £9 - easily to do with the fabulous products.
I received in the mail the gorgeous Joanna Sheen Cameo Stamp Set and created the above/below card. There is several cameo's and various corners in the stamp set - more than is shown.  I used the butterfly corner stamp, and created 3D butterflies.  All colouring was completed using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a Water-Pen.

Down in the Garden - Joanna Sheen Challenge

The Joanna Sheen 'Down in the Garden' Challenge has been launched today - details can all be found on the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog.  The winner of this challenge will receive a £15 voucher (as with each challenge prize), to spend on 'your' choice of goodies in the Joanna Sheen shop.  Spend over £9, and postage is free worldwide!
I used the 'Up the Garden Path' rubber stamp set by Wendy Cotterill, it is so old worldly, but modern at the same time.  There are further stamps in the set than what I have used in my creation, but I so adored the flowers and of course the sentiment.  The flower stamp, I coloured with ProMarkers, and double stamped to form in a decoupage manner.  I've never really attempted this before with a stamp and am totally happy with the final result.

Please call on over to the Joanna Sheen Blog, and view the inspiration from the other design team members, and come participate in the fun of the challenge...

Till next month...

The cute little image is the cute little House Mouse rubber stamp from the 'You Did It!' collection - the sentiment is from the House Mouse, 'Sweet Kisses' collection.  Absolutely adorable is that House Mouse!!

The image, doily and silk ribbon were painted using Creative Inspirations Paints.
There is a £15 shopping voucher to win each fortnight to spend in the Joanna Sheen Online shop - the winner is chosen by random.  Also, a top 3 will be picked and anyone wishing to take part as a Guest Designer places GD after their name on the actual entry, for a chance to join the DT team the following fortnight.

Joanna Sheen - Lavender and Lace combined with Creative Inspirations Paints

The challenge theme this fortnight for Joanna Sheen is 'Lavender & Lace' - which can be found 'HERE'. Joanna Sheen sent me the beautiful stamp set called 'Lace, Take One Step' (JS342) to create with.  The stamp set is so detailed, and the lace stands out beautifully.  The sentiment, seen in the 2nd photograph reads..
Each day
take one step
towards your dream,
You can be whatever
you want to be!

You can view further lace and knitted stamp sets 'Here'.  Did you know that Joanna Sheen has free postage, worldwide?  Worth investigating, some really beautiful products available.
There is a £ 15 shopping voucher to win each fortnight to spend in the Joanna Sheen Online shop - the winner is chosen by random.  Also, a top 3 will be picked and anyone wishing to take part as a Guest Designer places GD after their name, for a chance to join the DT team the following fortnight.
Pop on over to the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog for inspiration and don't forget the weekly blog candy - all you have to do for a chance to win, is leave a comment and follow along with the blog.

Due to moving house, I have combined my card to also be included as part of my creations for Creative Inspirations Paints. The beautiful stamp set 'Lace, Take One Step' (JS342) was painted using Amethyst, and Plum.  The angel wings were covered using Helmar's Acid Free Adhesive, then sprinkled with Resplendence Angel Dust. The Angel Dust is amazing, such glorious shimmer!

The roses/flowers were painted with Silver Frost just on the edges, and the bottom petals, and the foliage too.  No matter what the colour the Silver Frost is painted over, it gives a glorious shimmer and I adore the way the flowers shine.

I added tiny glass lilac seed beads to the lace using Gemstone Glue. In the right light, they shine - will be definitely playing around with more beads in the near future.

Creative Inspirations Paints, has a regular challenge also, and can be found upon the Blog 'Here'.

Cup Kitties Birthday Card - Joanna Sheen Challenge

This month for the Joanna Sheen brings another learning experience for myself, in the art of decoupage. The challenge theme this fortnight  is "Happy Birthday" - you can find all the challenge details 'HERE'.  The prize is a £15 Joanna Sheen gift voucher for a random winner, as well as a new Top 3 and new Guest Designer position, so be sure to enter!
So, my new learning experience is in 'Cup Kitties Decoupage Sheets'.  I really have not played around in this area much, though I could not get my scissors around those eenie weenie antenna! LOL   The design I chose this month just tugged my heart-strings, those great big blue eyes.
To go along with the theme of the decoupage, I used foam dots to create layers throughout the paper layers of the whole card, and of course added some glitter stickles to highlight certain areas of the card.

Now these images are totally adorable, and each packet contains 20 sheets of Cup Kitties
in 10 varying designs.
Also, please call on over to the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog and check out the 'blog candy' on offer this week (pictured below), and can be found 'HERE'.All you have to do to be in the running to win this lovely set of Letraset Pens is leave a comment on the post.  Simple!  I have this set of pens and they are the most gorgeous colours!

For Someone Special - New Joanna Sheen Challenge

Today brings my first post for the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog, and this fortnights challenge theme is "For Someone Special" - you can find all the challenge details 'HERE'.  There is a £15 Joanna Sheen gift voucher up for grabs for a random winner as well as a new Top 3 and new Guest Designer position, so be sure to enter!

For this particular challenge I used the most delightful 'House Mouse' rubber stamp set, called 'Get Well Soon - Sweet Kisses'.  Oh my, the little 'House Mouse' is so cute and all the fury friends involved in the whole series - you can see them all 'HERE'.

I'm not a huge stamper, only dabbled a little in the colouring side - so this card has been a learning curb.  I used a mixture of colouring mediums including chalks, ProMarkers, and Distress Re-Inkers.  I hope with some experimenting, I will manage to get the shading 'much' better.

What a fun card to make though, and I loved every part of this challenge...please call on over to the Joanna Sheen Blog and check out the other DT members wonderful, inspiring cards, and do not forget the blog candy on offer each week!
