The challenge theme this fortnight for Joanna Sheen is 'Lavender & Lace' - which can be found 'HERE'. Joanna Sheen sent me the beautiful stamp set called 'Lace, Take One Step' (JS342) to create with. The stamp set is so detailed, and the lace stands out beautifully. The sentiment, seen in the 2nd photograph reads..
Each day
take one step
towards your dream,
You can be whatever
you want to be!
You can view further lace and knitted stamp sets 'Here'. Did you know that Joanna Sheen has free postage, worldwide? Worth investigating, some really beautiful products available.
There is a £ 15 shopping voucher to win each fortnight to spend in the Joanna Sheen Online shop - the winner is chosen by random. Also, a top 3 will be picked and anyone wishing to take part as a Guest Designer places GD after their name, for a chance to join the DT team the following fortnight.
Pop on over to the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog for inspiration and don't forget the weekly blog candy - all you have to do for a chance to win, is leave a comment and follow along with the blog.
Due to moving house, I have combined my card to also be included as part of my creations for Creative Inspirations Paints. The beautiful stamp set 'Lace, Take One Step' (JS342) was painted using Amethyst, and Plum. The angel wings were covered using Helmar's Acid Free Adhesive, then sprinkled with Resplendence Angel Dust. The Angel Dust is amazing, such glorious shimmer!
The roses/flowers were painted with Silver Frost just on the edges, and the bottom petals, and the foliage too. No matter what the colour the Silver Frost is painted over, it gives a glorious shimmer and I adore the way the flowers shine.
I added tiny glass lilac seed beads to the lace using Gemstone Glue. In
the right light, they shine - will be definitely playing around with
more beads in the near future.
