Sharing My Creative Room

All the girls on the Helmar Design Team have been showing off their creative spaces on the DT group. There has been 'many' (and I do mean many) giggles over our creative messes.  Some are as neat as a pin, others are like 'wow' you could go diving into them and be lost for weeks (creative bliss) - I'd love to go snooping through those rooms, each and every one of them.

So I thought it would be a perfect time to show you my work area, though remember we have just very recently moved and everything is still chaotic.  Lots of boxes to still unpack downstairs, and a pile of organising to do 'here' in my creative room.

Above and below shows my main work bench - all with my Robin's Nest items ready to get all creative with.  I so adore their Dew Drops - oh my goodness, they are to drool over!  Of course, matching with the perfect adhesive .... Helmar's Gemstone Glue. My little pots of Creative Inspirations Paints sitting there waiting for my paintbrush...
At the moment we're on the prowl for more chairs, for when friends visit for creative time.
I have layouts placed around the walls, brightens it up, though I currently need more blu-tak for the rest of them to go 'up'.
There are two huge sliding doors which open up onto a balcony with ocean views.  I purposely placed my table against the wall to work, so I do not drift off into 'nowhere' just looking at the ocean!  However, there are times when I have to pull the curtain to remove the view, totally.

Jesse has his own toy-box upstairs, though of course Mummy's items are so much more interesting
than his toy-box!
...and the view itself below...looks much better in reality!
and I cannot miss one of my main 'fans', Ms Malinki who continually terrorises me while I am trying to create.  If she is in a bad mood with me, due to lack of attention, she will bite, chew, eat, attack any piece of paper, layout, creation within sight!  Not to forget the continual launches up and down the stairs - its like a play-gym for her!   Malinki even hides in my bin, waiting for the next piece of paper to come along ...
Ms Malinki's favourite spot, in front of another large window.  I pull the blinds up, so she can sun herself and have a view of the backyard and neighbours cats - instant powder puff when that takes place, and the noise that follows is frightening!

In a month or so I will endeavour to take more photographs to show the progress of my creative room.  Hope lots more will show their own creative space!

My jaw is on the floor - not only is your creative space AWESOME (and massive) but the view from it is to die for! I had to show my hubby your photos to give him a little perspective, to confirm I wasn't taking over our study with my 'craft space' too much...

Shaz, the little drawer sets are from Kaisercraft. You buy them in kit form, paint, paper, embellished...put together. You can get variety of different types.

Sandie I don't know how I missed your craft room. My goodness, aren't you the lucky one ... so much space and so organized. Alas, if only I could add a wee bit more space to my little corner. Non-the-less, I think it's awesome that you have a wonderful area to work in. And the view is lovely too. Similar to mine, and for that we are both blessed. Hugs ... Carole

Crikey! your room is as big as half of our city apartment - all that SPACE!! The free space I have to stand in is like 1,5 meter by 1,5 meter. It's too small to be called even a nook ;)) and I am definitely one of the super messy ... xxo

Wow I loved looking at your room - what an absolute delight to create in! And I just adore your Ms Malinki - I take it she's Burmese? My neighbours have a lilac point Burmese who thinks he lives here LOL
