This month for Meg's Garden, there is a beautiful new paper range that has been released called 'The Spring Paisley Collection' - be sure to check it out at the end of this post - so BEAUTIFUL!
My project for August, is a mini album which I have replicated on an old
antique version I am lucky enough to own - it holds photographs which
neatly tuck into where the vintage images/photographs are.
The album measures 6.5" square, and hosts a range
of papers from the various card-maker packs, available through Meg's Garden -
these papers were perfect to create the photo-cut-outs to replicate the
antique album.
At the moment, I have placed vintage images within each to complete the
book, and these cannot be removed. However, a photograph can be slipped neatly
over the top. Journal pages, also have hidden tag areas, and extra journal
spaces.
Each of the pages was highlighted with various flowers, leaves, and
embellishments, available through Meg's Garden. I kept it fairly simple so there would be room for journal and
further photographs.
I love the fact that each of the papers is so unique, leaving so much scope to create with... and the gorgeous embellishments that Meg's Garden stocks, match to perfection. If you have not seen the hundred's of charms available, make a point to visit for a browse.... you'll be amazed.
