"Sweet 16"
My second project for Meg's Garden is another layout of my Mother, at the age of 16
wearing her first special occasion dress. I wished we still wore dresses like this! The layout is based on 'Green
Paisley Toile' paper, from the 'Spring Paisley Collection', and teamed with matching
cardstock. I built up layers using the various sized lace doilies available
from Meg's Garden - sprucing them up with spray of Glimmer Mist, and touch of
Distress Inks in various shades - really made them shimmer beautifully. I used
various elements from other papers in the 'Spring Paisley Collection' to fussy cut elements, to enhance the edges of the doilies.

Another ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Layout using your moms Beautiful photo from when she was 16! I too wish we all dressed back in the day, as they dressed beautiful. LOVE your layout hun, its beautiful with the doilies, glimmer mist and all your added embellishments! Beautiful job as always!!!
