Well, I am back with another layout for The Scrapbook Store. I have used papers from the Basic Grey Lucille Paper Collection. I also neatly tucked in a mixture of the Mixed Brads, Pins and Tags, and Banners. The Banners are so cute, with little wire coat hangers!
I opted to join in with the Once Upon A Sketch Challenge and used the November, challenge sketch, which can be seen 'HERE'.
The Honeycomb die was used to enhance the background to match the sketch, using both the positive and negative die-cuts. Flowers include those from Manor House, and the very pretty Kaisercraft Mini Blooms. I adore the little Pins from the Basic Grey Pins and Tags, and added in some extra pearls along the stem before adhering them to the layout.
Did you know The Scrapbook Store sell their own chipboard elements, they are soooo cute too! I used the Clock, and the Lamp Post. There is a really cute set of bird baths and birds, that I so wanted to add, but could not get them to look right..... birds and bird-baths coming up in an upcoming layout. You can find all the chipboard elements 'HERE'.
The photograph is the Grand-Daughter of Jo and Roger, close friends of ours. Doesn't she have the most precious smile? I did not add a great deal of journaling, just how precious a child's smile is. They will be coming through Geraldton again next year, so Jo can fill in all the blanks on a hidden journal tag which also goes with the layout. Jo and Roger are originally from Adelaide, but now travel about often. They spend 6 months of the year on a beach up north from us, living off the 'sea'. I'm looking forwards to catching up with them again....and I'm very envious of their lifestyle!
