For my Imaginarium Designs April project, I opted to try something a little different. Masculine creations are something I normally stay well and
truly away from, but I’m pleased with my how this layout turned out.
The photograph is of my partner John and his two best mates (John is in black to the left), taken at Andrew's 50th in 2009. The top photograph makes me chuckle, it almost appears as if John and Andrew are holding hands - much to 'the boys' disgust! Anyhow, these 3 have grown up together and still today remain the best-est of mates...
I wanted
my chipboard pieces to look down right, dirty and grungy. Let’s face it, the
guys in the photographs drive massive road-trains, so pink was certainly out.
To get the chipboard elements to look grungy and dirty, I kept applying various
mediums in dabs, dollops and splatters. If I had to reproduce this, I’d have no
idea ‘how’, as there are a lot of layers. This was seriously a lot of fun, and
I’m looking forwards to doing ‘more masculine’ layouts...

Sandie , just love your man page, so awesome :)
This is a great 'masculine' layout Sandie. I love the background colours you have used, they look very Autumnal (is that even a word)?
Brilliant LO Sandie! It sure looks as if they are sharing "Good Times".
