There is a brand new sketch challenge up for January on the My Creative Sketches Blog, with some fantastic random prizes to be won - you can find all the details 'HERE'.
The photograph is of my Mother, brother Paul, and myself. I have scrapped this one previously, but since it was for my Mum, I opted to scrap it again for my own memory album.
I completed the border using crochet cotton, and a very small amount of quick dry adhesive. It worked well, though was terribly fiddly. Worth the effort though.
I used some Imaginarium Designs chipboard elements (list can be found below) - some old lace pieces, even tatting which has yellowed with age, so matched perfectly. I love tatting and can actually tat myself, a dying art I'm afraid.
The papers are from the FabScraps 'Marie Antionette' paper collection. Also, some older Prima roses, and the leaves, I have no idea where they came from.
I ordered the bottle-caps and dome covers from TSS - never played with them before and love them so much. The clock faces I downloaded from an Etsy store called VectoriaJewels.
I spray painted the bottle cap in white. The gold trinket, I have had in my stash for many years (I hate to think how many actually), and seemed to work perfectly.
Hope to see some familiar faces join in with this months sketch!!
Sandie
