Another month has arrived, and the June challenge for The Scrapbook Store is now up!
My interpretation is a little different, as I used clocks, and also went masculine - well minus the bows, but you know me, have to add something 'pretty'.
The photograph is of my 'family', in 1900 - at Thistle Park. Now I am not totally sure of what Thistle Park is, but have asked my Uncle to give me some clarification so I can complete the journaling. My Great, Great Grandparents owned, and ran a large brick works business. There is a series of photographs like this, including the workers of the Brick Works. Jock and George are my Great Grandparents son's.
The sketch is from Page-Maps this month. Entry is easy, just upload your layout over on The Scrapbook Store Gallery. The prize, consists of a $40 voucher to spend in store, with free postage too!
I used Graphic45's Kraft Reflections paper collection, and simply layered to create this layout. Must say I was extremely tempted to add a flower or 10, but refrained....
I really do detest my hand-writing, but feeling more confident in adding 'some' to be seen. Most is on the back, or hidden somewhere on the layout. Imaginarium Designs chipboard was used for the title, and painted using acrylic paints.
I will be back soon, with my creations for June...Take a peek at the latest 'Newsletter', some fabulous new lines of products in store - an end of year sale soon to take place, and lots more information.

Fantastic page Sandie !! It is a little different from your usual and I love it ( not that I don't love the gorgeous floral detailed work you do such as that whimsical tag for ID which is stunning ) but I think it's amazing how versatile we can all be and how great it is that we have the opportunities to get out of our comfort zones and explore different approaches to this fantastic craft.
